About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop branch employees to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
- Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition.
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and accountability aligned with BMO's values and purpose.
- Drive business development through community networking, cold calling, and strategic referrals.
- Manage branch operations, including expense control, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Monitor sales and service performance to identify gaps and implement effective action plans.
- Resolve complex customer issues and provide technical support to branch staff.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in retail banking or a related field.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven supervisory or management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive market trends.
- Strong understanding of branch operational processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
