Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop branch employees to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition.
• Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and accountability aligned with BMO's values and purpose.
• Drive business development through community networking, cold calling, and strategic referrals.
• Manage branch operations, including expense control, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Monitor sales and service performance to identify gaps and implement effective action plans.
• Resolve complex customer issues and provide technical support to branch staff.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in retail banking or a related field.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven supervisory or management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive market trends.
• Strong understanding of branch operational processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
