About the role

Responsibilities

  • Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
  • Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition.
  • Create innovative business development strategies and conduct cold calls to develop new customer relationships.
  • Manage team performance by coaching employees, recognizing achievements, and managing performance gaps.
  • Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify trends and implement action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and Bank policies and processes.
  • Build and maintain a strong network within the community to enhance the Bank's visibility.
  • Resolve complex customer issues and manage branch operating expenses in accordance with forecasts.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven supervisory or management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
