Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more Ameriprise owned branch offices by executing business plans and driving profitable organic growth.
• Implement national recruiting strategies to attract high-quality experienced advisors and manage the end-to-end candidate experience.
• Coach advisors on key revenue drivers, client acquisition, investment solutions, and business planning.
• Perform front-line supervision to ensure all sales activities align with client objectives, goals, and risk tolerance.
• Develop a strong local office culture centered on peer learning, achievement, and core company values.
• Maintain or build a personal wealth management practice to serve as a role model for the branch.
• Manage P&L expenses and analyze data to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven leadership skills and a track record of driving business growth and sales success.
• Ability to obtain and maintain FINRA Series 7, Series 24 (or 9/10), State Securities Agent Registration, State IAR registration, and Life and Accident/Health insurance licenses.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to execute a strategic playbook.
• Excellent compliance record and experience with P&L expense management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Relevant industry designations, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
