Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail shop operations to achieve sales and margin goals
• Provide professional customer service and handle technical product inquiries
• Support the outside sales team in nurturing client relationships and new business
• Manage financial transactions, including cash reports, pricing, and bank deposits
• Maintain accurate inventory levels for cylinders and hard goods
• Facilitate training for inside sales associates on product knowledge and safety
• Conduct performance reviews and provide mentorship to branch team members
• Ensure facility alignment with safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven managerial experience in a customer-facing environment
• Expertise in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and KPI utilization
• Background in retail or industrial distribution
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (and occasionally up to 125 lbs with equipment)
• Proficient computer skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 5+ years of sales experience, specifically within the welding industry
• Experience with inventory cultivation and vendor relationship management
• Basic knowledge of SAP
