Civil or Mechanical degree with 3.0+ GPA, AutoCAD proficiency, Engineering software (AutoCAD, Inventor, Mathcad, RISA), Field assessment and technical sketching, MS Office proficiency, Mathematical and reasoning skills

About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop crane layouts and rigging drawings for lift plans using custom lifting tools
- Create layout drawings for heavy machinery moving projects with gantries, slide systems, and modular trailers
- Create drawings for heavy transportation projects including over-the-road hauling and barge roll-on/roll-off
- Use engineering software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Mathcad, and RISA to develop heavy lift and transport solutions
- Perform field walk-down assessments to develop equipment lists, identify issues, and create technical sketches for bids
- Provide technical support to Project Managers and Superintendents on job sites from the office or in the field
- Design custom lifting or support tools per AISC, ASME, and other industry standards
- Serve as field technical liaison for complex projects, risk management, and safety evaluations
Preferred Qualifications
- Civil or Mechanical degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong mathematical and reasoning skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Effective communication skills
