Branch Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, warehouse locations, and suppliers using a delivery van or box truck
• Inspect company vehicles for defects and complete daily inspection reports
• Maintain clean and serviced vehicles, alerting supervisors to necessary repairs
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring all materials are correct and free of damage
• Follow all DOT, local, and state driving laws and regulations
• Complete all necessary delivery documentation, including signed receipts and manifests
• Pick up material returns and inspect their condition and quantity
• Support warehouse duties such as order preparation, receiving, and stocking as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• At least 21 years of age
• Clean motor vehicle record with no suspended licenses or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• Ability to obtain verification of a non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire
• Ability to handle loads with a combined weight not exceeding 26,000 GVW
• Strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills
