Branch Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations at the branch level and ensure compliance with local financial regulations and corporate policies
• Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and general ledger entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage closing activities
• Monitor expenses, support cost control initiatives, and coordinate petty cash and supplier payments
• Handle student-related financial transactions including refunds and receipts
• Prepare and file VAT, zakat, and other tax obligations in compliance with KSA regulations
• Support internal and external audits and align reporting with Corporate Finance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• SOCPA certification (required)
• 1–3 years of accounting experience within Saudi Arabia
• Strong knowledge of VAT, zakat, and local financial regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Fluent in both Arabic and English
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
