Brake Press Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate various sizes of brake press equipment
• Perform set-up and lay-out of equipment, tooling, and jobs
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and instructions
• Check parts to drawings and specs using tooling and gauges such as calipers and micrometers
• Perform forming to specified parameters
• Log all production activity into JobBoss computerized production management system

Requirements

• 2+ years of brake press experience
• Recent job-shop experience
• Experience running roll-forming equipment
• Ability to assist cell leader in quoting new projects
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance for equipment
• Valid forklift license for material handling
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct forming issues
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cincinnati Incorporated equipment or similar
• Technical training or certification in machining or metal fabrication
