About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive BPS implementation strategies for specific departments to support the plant's continuous improvement roadmap.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide coaching to operators, team leaders, and supervisors on BPS methodology and lean tools.
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and improvement projects to achieve value stream targets.
  • Use lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kanban, and Standardized Work to redesign processes and eliminate waste.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess the plant's BPS maturity level using dashboards.
  • Maintain BPS documentation in compliance with the Quality Management System and prepare for audits.
  • Guide Industry 4.0 initiatives and optimize material flow systems to support strategic logistics.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in BPS, lean manufacturing, or industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • B.S. in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven ability to analyze issues and apply problem-solving techniques such as Six Sigma, Shainin, or 5 Whys.
  • Experience managing projects, supervising teams, and prioritizing tasks independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and inter-departmental collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Thorough knowledge of lean principles including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and SMED.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience with automotive industry standards and manufacturing quality systems.
  • Ability to document standardized work charts, cycle time studies, and in-process stock.
