About the role
Responsibilities
- Activation and play
- Motivating the child to play, movement, and participation
- Support and follow-up in daily life
- Emotional regulation, shielding, and providing calm when needed
- Personal care, including dressing and undressing
- Cooking and practical tasks in the home
- Assisting with movement, mobilization, and some lifting
- Accompanying the child to swimming and other activities
- Assisting during travel
Requirements
- Proficiency in Norwegian Sign Language
- Valid police certificate
- Good Norwegian language skills
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to follow routines and take initiative
- Comfortable in water
Preferred Qualifications
- Driver's license (Class B)
- Ability to communicate in English
- Experience from the health and care sector
