Box Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to transport cargo to and from specified destinations
• Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods
• Load, secure, and unload cargo safely
• Maintain radio or telephone contact with dispatchers for instructions or schedule changes
• Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo in accordance with federal and state regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Box Truck Driver
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• High school diploma
• Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 50lbs+
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Availability to work day shifts (Friday–Sunday)
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional and polite disposition
• Experience in the recycling or logistics industry
