Box Office Staff

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service in person and over the phone
• Manage financial tasks including cash handling, balancing, and reconciling daily ticket sales
• Facilitate night-of-show Will Call and Guest List operations
• Troubleshoot ticketing issues such as transfers, barcodes, and account discrepancies
• Assist management with pricing initiatives, ticket counts, and internal reports
• Maintain Box Office cleanliness and follow opening/closing procedures
• Utilize the Ticketmaster host system for daily sales and operational tasks
• Support ADA requirements and ensure compliance with ticket laws

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Proven knowledge of cash handling procedures
• Experience in customer service (phone and in-person)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Tolerance and respect for all cultures, music, and art forms

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in live entertainment operations
• Experience using the Ticketmaster host system
• Knowledge of ticket sales processes
• Ability to identify counterfeit cash or identification
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
