About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary ticketing contact for all events at assigned venue(s)
- Manage the hiring, training, scheduling, and daily supervision of Box Office personnel
- Oversee nightly operations including ticket sales, Will Call, and scanning
- Build and maintain all events within ticketing software and manage ticket inventory
- Collaborate with Marketing, Production, and Talent departments to set up events and process orders
- Maintain accurate accounting records, perform daily safe reconciliations, and prepare deposits
- Ensure all staff adhere to company cash handling policies and ADA compliant ticketing practices
- Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively resolve guest issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or comparable professional work experience
- 2-3 years of experience in box office management or as a box office representative
- Strong knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g., Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, or TM1 product suite)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proven experience in customer service, accounting, and cash management procedures
- Ability to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and diffuse high-pressure situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing season ticket business and ancillary products like VIP parking or premium hospitality
- Experience working in a high-volume live entertainment or concert venue environment
