About the role
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Verify receipts and process bank payments via cash or cheque
- Monitor office expenses and manage vendor invoice payments
- Assist in the handling and preparation of tax forms
- Process and maintain accurate payroll records
- Verify transaction accuracy and ensure correct ledger entry
- Develop daily and monthly financial and statistical reports for management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field from an accredited institution
- Proven experience working as a bookkeeper
- Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, best practices, and terminology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
