About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain stationary engines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment such as pumps, compressors, or air conditioning units
- Supply and maintain steam or heat for buildings, ships, or pneumatic tools
- Activate valves to maintain necessary water levels in boilers
- Adjust combustion air supply and control fuel flow in burners
- Monitor water, chemical, and fuel levels and make necessary adjustments
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a boiler operator or technician (preferred)
- RITE license (preferred)
- Certified Boiler Operator license (preferred)
- Vocational training or Higher Degree in Electricity, Plumbing, Gas, or equivalent
