Boiler Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal analysis, testing, and performance evaluations to ensure system reliability and efficiency
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain documentation, operating procedures, and process control diagrams for thermal systems
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams during equipment commissioning and daily operations
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and system performance
• Ensure all thermal processes meet food safety, OSHA, and state regulations
• Manage safe operation of high-pressure boiler in accordance with NJAC 12:90

Requirements

• New Jersey High Pressure Black Seal License required
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with thermal systems
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and energy systems
• Experience with process troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or industrial settings
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (FDA, USDA), SQF, and GMP practices
• Experience with thermal oil transfer systems
• Bilingual skills
