Bogie Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bogie engineering outputs in compliance with QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments
• Apply bogie design development procedures across various projects
• Manage technical interfaces, weights, tolerance stack-ups, and manufacturing tolerances
• Execute CAD activities and ensure compliance with material specifications, weld types, and structural standards
• Support the installation and routing of piping and electrical cabling
• Conduct basic stress calculations and select appropriate mechanical fixings

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with material specialization
• Proficiency in Catia V5 and experience with Enovia PDM/PLM systems
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
• Experience in new product development and designing/sizing mechanical structures (welded and bolted)
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of structural and dynamic calculations
