Bodyshop Quality Controller

Responsibilities

• Drive completed vehicles on proving grounds under simulated road conditions to detect mechanical or structural defects
• Examine vehicles before road testing to ensure electrical wiring, hydraulic lines, and fan belts are installed as specified
• Evaluate and document the condition of vehicle body, interior, and mechanical components
• Test equipment functionality, including horns, heaters, wipers, and power windows, while listening for excessive noise or rattles
• Prepare detailed quality reports including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
• Conduct daily quality control testing and provide hands-on technical assistance and advice to team members
• Minimize vehicle comebacks by performing periodic spot checks of completed jobs
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and standards through continuous training

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
• Practical experience in the motor industry
• Previous experience working as a Technician
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Valid UAE driving license
• Arabic language skills are preferred
