Body Maker Technician I

Responsibilities

• Operate Front-End equipment including Body Makers, Minsters, Washers, Compactors, and SOS via specific control panels to maximize productivity.
• Participate in coil changes on Minster equipment using SMED activities to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and TPM checklists to detect anomalies and carry out necessary mechanical interventions.
• Execute minor maintenance tasks such as replacing hoses and filters, eliminating leaks, and cleaning Lee Jets to preserve operational condition.
• Conduct quality inspections of the can formation process to ensure all parameters meet technical specifications.
• Monitor and analyze spoilage reports to maintain quality standards and reduce failure rates in Body Makers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S and Lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and prevent accidents.
• Comply with all safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Completed Technical degree in Mechanics, Electromechanics, or Mechatronics.
• Proven experience in production or equipment maintenance.
• Availability to work on-site in Águas Claras, Viamão/RS.
• Ability to work in a 4x4 shift rotation (4 days on, 4 days off) with 12-hour shifts (07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S tools.
• Proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
