About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor instrument control panels and adjust controls to regulate process variables such as pressure, flow rates, and temperature.
- Oversee and maintain equipment controlling the temperature and flow of products.
- Monitor gauges, inspect products, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Record data from equipment readings to ensure operating efficiency and purity.
- Issue and monitor safe work permits upon qualification.
- Operate within Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations and environmental permit requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Board Operator.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of process controls and automation.
- Proficiency in digital literacy and computer systems for monitoring and data management.
