Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person Independent Medical Exams (IMEs) at various clinic locations across Washington
• Review all medical records and perform physical examinations of patients
• Complete detailed reports addressing clinical questions and diagnoses utilizing AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition
• Return completed reports promptly on or before the specified due date and time
• Perform peer-to-peer calls as required to obtain necessary clinical clarifications
• Provide addenda as required to address quality assurance or regulatory issues

Requirements

• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active medical practice and valid Washington state medical license
• Ability to conduct in-person physical examinations
• Proficiency in reviewing medical records and addressing complex clinical concerns
