BMW Certified Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using BMW applications and test equipment such as ISTA, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, spark plug replacements, and brake services
• Execute complex repairs such as engine overhauling, suspension work, and addressing oil leaks
• Inspect components for wear and tear and verify vehicle functions and subsystems
• Install new parts according to BMW repair instructions
• Communicate repair issues and required work to Team Leaders and provide quotes for necessary repairs
• Perform diagnostic tests on engines, transmissions, and other computerized electronic components

Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile engineering
• Must be a BMW Certified Technician
• 5-6 years of experience as a Technician within a dealership environment
• Proven experience working with prestige or premium automotive brands
