BLS/First Aid Trainer

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess nationally recognised First Aid training, including HLTAID009 (CPR) and HLTAID010 (Basic Emergency Life Support)
• Provide workplace-based training and support for HCA employees in acute, aged care, and disability support settings
• Ensure students gain the necessary skills and confidence to thrive in real-world care environments
• Deliver courses both virtually and face-to-face using appropriate technology

Requirements

• TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Essential)
• Demonstrated vocational competency in HLTAID009 and HLTAID010 (Essential)
• Current industry experience in first aid, emergency response, or a healthcare environment
• Demonstrated current industry skills and knowledge in CPR and basic emergency life support
• Confidence in utilizing technology for course delivery
• COVID-19 vaccination
• Full Australian working rights
