Blockchain Specialist (Assurance Advisory Digital Asset) - Sr. Manager/Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver blockchain and crypto-related assurance engagements, managing planning, execution, and client relationships.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in blockchain protocols, digital assets, and cryptocurrencies to shape client services.
• Guide cross-service line teams to assess digital asset risks and design control frameworks aligned with HKMA, SFC, and international standards.
• Provide strategic technical thought leadership at industry forums, regulatory consultations, and major blockchain events.
• Develop advanced blockchain risk methodologies, audit tools, and knowledge assets.
• Coach and lead professional teams, fostering expertise in digital asset auditing and regulatory assurance.
• Drive business development through proposal creation, client pitching, and identifying new market opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in financial services IT audit, internal control reviews, or cybersecurity risk with digital asset exposure.
• Experience with IT standards and certifications such as SOC, COBIT, or ISO2700x.
• Familiarity with HKMA and SFC digital asset guidelines and international crypto compliance frameworks.
• Deep technical understanding of blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, tokenization, Web3, and related business models.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and coaching professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM.
