Blister Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment safely, productively, and efficiently
• Perform machine changeovers and cleaning in accordance with SOPs
• Complete all required batch records and forms accurately and on time
• Weigh, count, document, and verify materials used in the production area
• Ensure products are produced according to batch records and specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Recognize and report out-of-control events or safety problems immediately
• Move and stack bins, metal plates, and buckets of materials as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience operating mechanical equipment for conveying, sealing, or packaging
• Ability to use basic shop math, algebra, and basic computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, chemical, or food industries
• Knowledge of FDA/cGMP compliance
