Blending Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment to organize, stack, and maintain inventory of raw materials and finished goods
• Set up, operate, break down, and clean blending machines and tools according to specific work instructions
• Prepare batches by verifying correct raw materials, item numbers, lot numbers, and appropriate amounts
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for blending and weighing raw materials in a cGMP quality environment
• Perform manual and visual inspections of materials and finished goods to ensure quality standards
• Complete all production documentation accurately and legibly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workstation and report any safety concerns immediately

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in warehouse material handling within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate PIT equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, etc.)
• Basic shop math and algebra skills for batch calculations
• Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to pass job-related assessments, drug screens, and background checks

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, chemical, or food industries)
• Experience working within FDA/cGMP compliance standards
• Previous experience using ERP systems
• Proven track record of continuous improvement and high-quality production focus
