About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of liquid process operations, including mixing activities and equipment operation.
  • Coordinate the sanitization program, including chemical and steam sanitization processes.
  • Ensure safe handling of all chemicals in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Perform quality testing, including pH testing, hardness testing, and analytical testing on finished products.
  • Monitor and maintain the R.O. water system and waste water systems.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all formulations and fluid flow from raw material storage to packaging.
  • Manage inventory of raw chemicals and record lot numbers for bulk and non-bulk materials.
  • Complete and maintain shift forms, logbooks, and equipment troubleshooting reports.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of chemical and steam sanitization processes.
  • Proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure hygienic product manufacture.
  • Experience with computer batching programs.
  • Ability to perform analytical and quality testing (e.g., pH testing).
  • Understanding of OSHA compliance and safe chemical handling.
