Bistro 101 General Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor and kitchen operations to ensure proficient service and food quality.
• Manage the annual fiscal budget, including monthly financial reviews, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Lead and develop team members through hiring, training, counseling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitary, and health inspection standards.
• Monitor inventory control and labor management to maximize restaurant profitability.
• Interact with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and address any comments or concerns.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef regarding menu knowledge and VIP guest requirements.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or 2 years as an Assistant General Manager with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong understanding of Food & Beverage budgeting, labor costs, and operational expenses.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with guests and staff.
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of Food & Beverage service experience, specifically in an upscale or specialty retail restaurant segment.
