Biotechnologist Intern

Responsibilities

• Perform resuscitation, passage, transfection, and culture of mammalian cells (HEK293, CHO)
• Conduct data analysis and processing of cell culture experiments
• Operate bioreactors, centrifuges, and prepare buffers and reagents
• Formulate and update SOPs and maintain experimental records
• Manage and maintain laboratory instruments
• Purify mammalian recombinant antibodies and proteins using affinity, ion exchange, and size exclusion chromatography
• Develop appropriate purification schemes based on order requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or related field
• Practical laboratory experience in recombinant protein or antibody expression
• Familiarity with Mammalian Cell-culture, Chromatography, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, or HPLC
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, including non-weekend rest days
