Biotechnologist III

Responsibilities

• Execute cGMP manufacturing operations including equipment setup, cleaning, and calibration.
• Perform upstream processes such as vial thaw, inoculation, cell culture, and recovery.
• Conduct downstream processes including chromatography, filtration, ultrafiltration, and final filling.
• Manage central service tasks such as buffer/media preparation, autoclave operations, and raw material sampling.
• Complete batch documentation accurately, thoroughly, and legibly in compliance with quality standards.
• Support troubleshooting efforts and report anomalous processing events to supervisors.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure overall plant upkeep during assigned shifts.
• Adhere to all EHS, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Sciences, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of cGMP and regulatory manufacturing requirements.
• Experience using SAP, LIMS, or MES systems preferred.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work rotational shifts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
