About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform technical and analytical tasks in a state-of-the-art protein sciences laboratory
- Conduct mammalian cell culture (HEK293, CHO), transfection, and protein expression experiments
- Operate bioreactors, centrifuges, and prepare buffers and reagents
- Purify recombinant antibodies and proteins using affinity, ion exchange, and size exclusion chromatography
- Assess protein quality, quantity, and identity via Western blotting and SDS-PAGE
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize laboratory equipment performance
- Document protocols, procedures, and findings in a detailed and organized manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biological chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork
- Availability to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with rest days that may include weekends
