Biotechnologist

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and analytical tasks in a state-of-the-art protein sciences laboratory
• Conduct mammalian cell culture (HEK293, CHO), transfection, and protein expression experiments
• Operate bioreactors, centrifuges, and prepare buffers and reagents
• Purify recombinant antibodies and proteins using affinity, ion exchange, and size exclusion chromatography
• Assess protein quality, quantity, and identity via Western blotting and SDS-PAGE
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize laboratory equipment performance
• Document protocols, procedures, and findings in a detailed and organized manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biological chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork
• Availability to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with rest days that may include weekends
