Biotechnologist

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize oligonucleotide synthesis and PCR processes following SOPs
• Independently troubleshoot routine production issues and propose process improvements
• Manage experiment handovers, exception handling, and standardized data recording
• Maintain 5S standards, safety protocols, and equipment for primer synthesis
• Collaborate on cross-department tasks and maintain laboratory supplies
• Ensure a clean, orderly environment and strict adherence to safety guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biological chemistry, or related discipline
• Experience with PCR assays, thermal cyclers, electrophoresis, and gel imaging
• Proficiency in DNA/RNA extraction, amplification, and analysis
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week with variable rest days
• Basic conversational Chinese language skills
