Biotechnician I

Responsibilities

• Support the startup phase of the Hopewell manufacturing facility through equipment testing, procurement, and protocol execution
• Execute hands-on cGMP manufacturing activities including media preparation, cell culture sampling, and harvest operations
• Perform buffer preparation, filtration, and operation of chromatography systems
• Conduct aseptic filling of vials inside a Grade A isolator using automated equipment
• Manage equipment and process troubleshooting, including deviation identification and reporting
• Maintain accurate batch documentation and review records for compliance
• Support routine cleanroom operations, equipment sanitization, and environmental monitoring
• Operate specialized equipment such as CIP/SIP skids, autoclaves, and protein concentration analyzers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in a biopharmaceutical company
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods (8-10 hours)
• Ability to work scheduled 40 hours with overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• AS/BS/BA in a science-related field
• Equivalent technical experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing
