Biosample Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance during protocol and informed consent form development to ensure logistical feasibility and ICH/GCP compliance
• Participate in the CRF development process to ensure appropriate biosample information capture
• Serve as the functional lead on Clinical Study Teams providing regular metrics and status updates
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of biosample data
• Provide operational leadership on vendor and sample management activities, including central lab specifications
• Oversee kit design, sample processing, and sample logistics for investigator sites
• Plan and coordinate sample shipments and query resolution at laboratory vendors
• Manage the sample management system to track sample lifecycle and support reconciliation
• Provide training to investigator sites and study monitors for biosample collection and handling
• Manage laboratory vendors including selection, technology transfers, budgets, and contracts
• Develop and maintain biosample operations SOPs and WPs

Requirements

• B.S. in biological sciences
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of FDA, ICH/GCP, and GDPR regulations
• Proven track record in sample management, data management, and vendor management
• Experience developing central lab specifications and logistics for global studies
• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
