Biorepository Operations Coordinator II

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day biorepository operations, including sample retrieval, shipment, delivery, and destruction logistics
• Manage sample inventory data by importing information into management systems and auditing data accuracy for quality assurance
• Provide IT system support, including user account provisioning, data edits, and assisting with UAT testing of system changes
• Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams such as Clinical Operations, R&D, Logistics, and IT
• Support the operational assessment of clinical studies and sample acquisition activities
• Assist with the documentation of key business processes and perform onsite storage infrastructure assessments
• Coordinate small-to-medium scope projects and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health or life sciences (or Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience)
• 2+ years of experience in a laboratory, clinical research, IT, regulatory, or related function
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to work onsite in Madison, WI

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sample laboratory workflows or biobanking
• Experience with sample or clinical data management platforms
• Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), including barcoding and accessioning
• Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
• Experience in a customer-facing service role
