Biorepository Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving consignments and shipments of clinical specimens
• Perform quality checks on patient information forms and escalate discrepancies or damage
• Prepare and coordinate shipments for long-term storage, client needs, or specimen disposition
• Support after-hours alarms and other critical operational functions
• Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of laboratory tools
• Support inventory management and maintain cleanliness of workstations
• Perform administrative tasks and organize work areas as directed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills for managing workflow and reporting processes
• Experience with specimen handling, shipment processing, or laboratory documentation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments with occasional exposure to cold temperatures
• Ability to work a Tuesday–Saturday, 3:30 PM – midnight shift
