Biomethane Broker

Responsibilities

• Broker OTC transactions in biomethane including physical, certificates, cross-border flow, spot, and long-term
• Develop and grow a portfolio of producers, utilities, transport fuel suppliers, and industrial off-takers
• Identify new leads and proactively convert them into recurring business
• Provide clients with timely pricing, market intelligence, and regulatory updates
• Travel internationally for business purposes

Requirements

• Native Spanish and fluent English (written and verbal)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Energy, or a related field
• Approximately two years of experience in brokering, trading, sales, origination, or business development
• Strong commercial drive and client-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of or affinity with commodities and gas markets
• Ability to perform cold calling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in biomethane, biogas, natural gas, or biofuels
• Additional languages
