About the role

About the Company

Scientific Safety Alliance’s Biomedical Division specializes in the repair, preventative maintenance and safety inspections of medical equipment. We service territories across the entire United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, and electrical safety inspections on complex biomedical equipment
  • Repair, install, and calibrate intricate biomedical systems
  • Ensure accuracy of equipment databases, including inventory and service history
  • Adhere to Medical Equipment Management Plans and regulatory agency compliances
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and discuss equipment status with clinicians
  • Perform incoming inspections to maintain accurate inventory of medical devices

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
  • Associate degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Complex computer skills including system administration and networking concepts
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel extensively across the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting error codes and defragmenting hard drives
  • Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
