Biomedical Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems
• Perform water/dialysate sample collection and conduct trend analysis to ensure system functionality
• Manage medical supply inventory, including receiving deliveries and transporting goods between clinics
• Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure compliance with regulatory and OSHA requirements
• Provide scheduled after-hours technical on-call coverage for assigned clinics as needed
• Assist in the planning and installation of biomedical equipment to ensure safe operation

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver's License issued in the employee's state of residence
• Manual dexterity with the ability to use common hand tools and small power equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely move large or bulky equipment
• Less than 1 year of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in electronics, biomedical technology, or an equivalent field
• Prior experience in a mechanical, automotive, construction, dialysis, or medical technical setting
