Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical imaging equipment such as MRI, CT, and Ultrasound machines
  • Document service performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to assess equipment performance and reliability
  • Provide troubleshooting support and technical assistance for medical imaging systems
  • Assist in developing and implementing equipment management programs
  • Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices in biomedical engineering
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with medical imaging equipment
  • Strong understanding of medical imaging technologies, including MRI, CT, and Ultrasound
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO)
  • Ability to successfully clear a Tier-1 (Public Trust) background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

  • A valid biomedical equipment technician certification (e.g., CBET)
