About the role
Responsibilities
- Process and embed tissue samples
- Perform microtomy and stain slides for microscopic examination
- Support pathologists in diagnostic reporting
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
- Proficiency in microtomy and staining techniques (minimum 30 blocks per hour)
- NHS experience
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork abilities
