Biomedical Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of duties within the Haematology and Blood Transfusion departments
• Process and analyse samples
• Maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Contribute to the delivery of accurate and timely diagnostic results
• Provide coverage for out-of-hours shifts as part of the rota

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Proven experience in Haematology and Blood Transfusion
• Previous out-of-hours or shift work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
