Responsibilities
- Initialise analysers each day and ready them for sample processing
- Perform testing on analysers, validating patient results and escalating clinically anomalous findings
- Carry out daily calibration, internal quality control, and routine maintenance of analysers
- Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues promptly
- Contribute to service improvement work, including analyser verification, reagent evaluation, and software testing
Requirements
- Recently graduated Biomedical Scientist or early career professional
- Registered license as a Biomedical Scientist issued by Socialstyrelsen
- Ability to work efficiently under time pressure in a fast-turnaround service model
- Highly organized and patient with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in a clinical chemistry lab
- Experience operating an integrated clinical chemistry analyser
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and digital result reporting
