About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform specialist haematology procedures including blood analysis, coagulation studies, and transfusion science
- Conduct blood film analysis and full blood counts (FBC)
- Interpret blood test results and assist in diagnostic procedures
- Provide technical advice to clinicians
- Maintain accurate laboratory records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with UKAS accreditation standards
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Extensive experience in haematology and blood analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
