Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic tests within the Biochemistry department
- Operate and maintain Cobas Pure and Cobas 8000 analysers
- Utilize Q-Pulse for quality management
- Manage sample processing and result validation
- Conduct equipment calibration
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance schemes
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in Biochemistry
- Proficiency with Cobas Pure and Cobas 8000 analysers
- Experience with Q-Pulse quality management system
- Familiarity with UKAS standards and laboratory best practices
