About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs on biomedical equipment using service manuals and OEM training
- Install, troubleshoot, and diagnose electronic, network, and mechanical problems at customer sites
- Manage customer relationships by providing effective communication and resolving technical issues with urgency
- Independently complete PMs, FCOs, and installations to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain ownership of service tasks and prioritize work based on site manager and customer needs
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment (e.g., patient monitoring, defibrillators, or infusion pumps)
- Associate degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware
- Ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to repair equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations
- Ability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment
