Biomedical Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs on biomedical equipment using service manuals and OEM training
• Install, troubleshoot, and diagnose electronic, mechanical, and networking problems at customer sites
• Manage customer relationships by providing effective communication and resolving technical issues with urgency
• Independently complete PMs, FCOs, and installations while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Ensure all tasks are completed according to safety standards, including working with radiation sources when required

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment (e.g., patient monitoring, defibrillators, or infusion pumps)
• Associate degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware
• Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory
• Ability to travel to local accounts and work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations
