About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs on biomedical equipment using service manuals and OEM training
  • Install, troubleshoot, and diagnose electronic, network, and mechanical problems at customer sites
  • Manage customer relationships by providing effective communication and resolving technical issues with urgency
  • Independently complete PMs, FCOs, and installations to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain detailed service records and ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment (e.g., patient monitoring, defibrillators, or infusion pumps)
  • Associate degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware
  • Ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to repair equipment
  • Ability to travel to local accounts and work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations
