About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs on medical equipment using service manuals and OEM training.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues, providing clear communication and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Independently complete installations, field corrective actions (FCOs), and related technical tasks.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex electronic, network, and mechanical problems at customer sites.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure adherence to state and federal regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of experience servicing medical equipment (e.g., patient monitoring, defibrillators, or infusion pumps).
  • Associate degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware.
  • Ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install and repair equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
  • Ability to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials while wearing required PPE.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electronic Engineering Technology (BSEET), Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET).
