About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs on medical equipment using service manuals and OEM training
  • Identify and resolve customer issues, providing clear communication and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Independently complete installations, field corrective actions (FCOs), and related technical tasks
  • Diagnose and resolve complex electronic, network, and mechanical problems at customer sites
  • Manage customer relationships and adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience servicing medical equipment (experience with patient monitoring, defibrillators, or infusion pumps preferred)
  • Associate degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware
  • Ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations
  • Ability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment
